Identity, Administration & Inclusion: Current Status of Adjunct and Contingent Faculty in LIS
Educators and administrators give an overview of the status of non-tenure track (NTT) faculty in LIS education, including characteristics of the contingent workforce from a fall survey and best practices in NTT management.
Speakers: Sandy Hirsh, Linda Lillard, Linda Marion, Jennifer Sweeney.
Attendees: 15; lively discussion.

Seeking Balance in the Academy: Inclusion of Contingent Faculty in Governance
Former LIS deans, directors, and faculty lead a candid and open discussion on recent AAUP recommendations for inclusion of contingent faculty in governance.
Speakers: Jenny Bosaller, Beverly Lynch, Carla Stoffle, and Jennifer Sweeney.
Attendees: 4; we held a round table discussion and produced a draft research agenda to gather data on adjunct faculty status and use in LIS education for the SIG to pursue in 2015.
